CHARITY ORGANIZATIONS

	Mission of Love Foundation. This important organization is a non-profit organization that provides humanitarian aid to those in need worldwide, especially children. The Mission of Love airlifts clothing, medicine, food, and building supplies to third world countries and some of the poorest communities in the U.S. Once the supplies arrive, volunteers help to build medical clinics, repair orphanages, administer medical treatment to the ill and serve those in need. Willa was a volunteer with the Mission of Love Foundation and travelled to areas hit by the hurricanes to offer aid in September 2005.
	Hospice Chautauqua County. The mission of Hospice Chautauqua County is to provide education and comfort care for the end stages of life. Willa served as a Hospice Volunteer, providing comfort to patients and family members.
	March of Dimes. The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects and infant mortality. Willa recently walked in the March of Dimes 2005 WalkAmerica.

To understand the meaning of death, we must understand the meaning of life. Looking at life we see that all things change; but although changed, nothing perishes. Things only change. If this is true in the world of things, how much more true it is in the world of mind.

Soul has a substance of its own no less permanent for being immaterial. No less real for being invisible. We cannot measure it with calipers or weigh it in balance. We cannot feel it with our fingers or see it with our eyes, but it is there--substantial, real. It changes, but it will not perish.

Life does not begin with birth. It does not end with death. Life is an eternal process and eternal progress. This visible form, this audible voice, the aggregation of organs, this network of ideas--we are more than these. These are the trappings of visibility and we are an expression of the spirit of life. Life is the work of a grand and kind Intelligence and has an order and a meaning far beyond our power to see at this moment; but we can trust this Intelligence that made the world.

We were not made for dying or for failure or for pain. We are meant to live gloriously. We are the children of the infinite. We have a divine destiny and we are advancing toward this destiny. Out of the infinite we came and into the infinite return, but we are upward bound. We have risen through an eternity of experiences. We shall go higher yet through other experiences.
